We ask that you review this User Policy, which is intended to constitute a binding license agreement that conditions your use of this blog ("Agreement"). If you do not wish to be bound by this Agreement after you have read it, please leave the blog. If you remain on this blog, or return thereafter, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.
The blog is strictly for use by high schools, students, teachers and supporting staff participating in the SUADS 2009 campaign, and individuals supporting the campaign. CAP AIDS respects the safety of students participating in the campaign and using this blog.

Conditions of Use:
The capaids-suads.org blog was developed for these SUADS 09 campaign-related activities:
- Registering and mobilizing schools and high school students to participate in the SUADS 2009 campaign
- Sharing of the content on the blog via social networking platforms and e-mail for the purposes of spreading awareness about HIV/AIDS in Africa, CAP AIDS’ work, and for soliciting sponsorship for the SUADS 09 campaign.
- Users are free to post comments to individual pages. All comments will be moderate before they are published.

Violations:
CAP AIDS under no circumstances will tolerate the misuse of the blog.
- You may not abuse, harass, threaten, impersonate or intimidate other blog users. You may not use the blog for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
- Collecting names, usernames and/or email addresses of other blog users by electronic or other means for the purpose of sending unsolicited email or unauthorized framing of the blog is prohibited.
- You may not modify, adapt or hack capaids-suads.org or modify another blog/website so as to falsely imply that it is associated with capaids-suads.org. You may not create or submit unwanted email to any blog users ("Spam").
- You may not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature. You may not violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).
- The blog carries no commercial advertisements, affiliate links, and other forms of solicitation. The blog may not be used in connection with any commercial endeavours. Any attempt to upload content that promotes pyramid schemes, chain letters or disruptive commercial messages or advertisements will result in the user being blocked from using the blog.
- You may not defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise violate the legal rights (such as rights of privacy and publicity) of others.
- You many not post inappropriate, defamatory, infringing, obscene, libelous or unlawful Content.
- You many not post content that infringes copyright or other proprietary right of any party (the "Rights"), unless you are the owner of the Rights or have the permission of the owner to post such Content.
- You may not restrict or inhibit any other user from using and enjoying the blog.
- You may not use the blog for illegal or unauthorized purposes including but not limited to distributing spam.
- You may not submit content that falsely expresses or implies that such content is sponsored or endorsed by CAP AIDS.
- You may not transmit any viruses, worms, defects, Trojan horses, or any items of a destructive nature.
Prohibited Content:
CAP AIDS strives to maintain high standards of respect and decency throughout the SUADS 09 campaign. In order to attain this goal, and in addition to the other content and/or action restrictions set forth in this User Policy, the following content is prohibited on this blog:
- Content involving nudity, including but not limited to, nudity or partial nudity of children of any age.
- Content that exploits children or minors or that discloses any personally identifying information beyond a first name about persons under the age of 18.
- Content that disseminates personal information about another individual for malevolent purposes, including libel, slander, defamation or harassment.
- Content that has as its sole or primary purpose to advertise a particular product or service that, in the sole judgment of CAP AIDS, does not otherwise have redeeming value to the community.
- Content that is or may be deemed to be grossly offensive to the online community, including but not limited to, blatant expressions of bigotry, prejudice, racism, hatred and profanity.
- Content promoting or providing instructional information about illegal activities.
- Content depicting cruelty to animals.
- Copyrighted content or material that is used without the express permission of the owner.
- Content intended to abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise violate the legal rights of others (such as the rights of privacy and publicity).
- Content that contains software or other material protected by intellectual property laws unless you own or control the rights thereto or have secured all necessary consents and/or licenses.
- Content or other material that contains viruses, corrupted files, or any other similar software or programs that may damage the operation of capaids-suads.org.
- Content that violates any applicable laws or regulations not specifically referenced herein.
Comments:
The blog comes with a built-in comment tool that allows users to sharing comments with other users and communicate with CAP AIDS. You agree to use this tool only to send comments or questions related to the SUADS 09 campaign. CAP AIDS reserves the right to review comments and to remove any materials in its sole discretion for any reason or no reason, at any time, with or without notice to you. CAP AIDS reserves the right to terminate your ability to post comments at any time without notice for any reason whatsoever.
Sharing:
The blog comes with a built-in sharing tool (ShareThis), which allows users to share the blog content via popular social networking platforms such as Facebook. You agree to use this tool only to send content on the blog to fellow students, friends and prospective sponsors.
Individual/School blogs:
Upon request we may create blogs for individual fundraisers or schools. We reserve the exclusive right at all times to remove any information or materials that are unlawful, threatening, abusive, libelous, defamatory, obscene, vulgar, pornographic, profane, indecent or otherwise objectionable to us in our sole discretion and to disclose any information necessary to satisfy the law, regulation, or government request.

We have provided links from our blog to other sites to provided an expanded educational base for HIV/AIDS in Africa. We have no control over linked sites and make no representations about any content or material available at these locations. Links are not intended to imply sponsorship, affiliation or endorsement.
Jurisdiction:
This blog is hosted on servers located in the United States and but is intended to be viewed by residents of Canada and the rest of the world. In the event of any dispute arising out of or relating to this site, you agree that the exclusive venue for litigating disputes shall be in the province of Ontario, Canada.
Modifications/ Termination:
The terms of this agreement will not be modified on an individual basis. You agree that we may modify the terms of this Agreement (or discontinue this blog) in our sole discretion, without advance notice, and that your right to access the blog is conditioned on an ongoing basis with your compliance with the then-current version of these Terms and Conditions. You should therefore visit this page frequently.
You agree to use the services provided by capaids-suads.org only for their intended, lawful purposes and in accordance with all applicable laws. Appropriate legal action will be taken for any illegal or unauthorized use of the blog. CAP AIDS reserve the right to permanently block any user who violates these terms and conditions. If notified by a user or a third party of uploaded material that allegedly does not conform to this User Policy, CAP AIDS may investigate the allegation and determine in good faith and in its sole discretion whether to remove the user-generated content. In addition, we may ban you from the blog.
